Dime-A-Dozen Music publishing company was established with BMI in March of 1971
by Bob Ketchum as a means of registering and protecting his own music
compositions. Eventually he extended the publishing services of an already established
music publishing company to some of the clients using the studio to record their own
original material. They wanted protection for their own independent projects.
Throughout the years many groups, artists and songwriters have used Dime-A-Dozen Music for the same purposes. The company now holds over 400 songs written by some 45 artists and groups. Some of these artists and groups are listed below:
