THE END !

One day, during a winter jam session in 1998, I mused to the assembled group of players how funny it would be the just have a complete song that would be nothing more than an ending. The more we discussed it, the funnier it became until, well, we just HAD to do it! You know what I'm talking about, right? Like in a concert where it's the last song of the set and the damn song won't end. Everybody's up ther on stage flailing away at their instrument; the guitar player is looking for the Ultimate Riff..... the drummer is beginning to look like that Muppet "Animal" character..... the bass player's head is straight down looking at his feet through the whole thing...... the keyboard player seems to be wiping off his keys, the singer is running back and forth screaming into the mike.......... the lead player is humping his Marshall amp getting strange and erotic sounds out of his tortured Strat.........YOU know!
Well, here it is! A three-minute ending, complete with winding down drum stabs while the guitars are just squealing away in feedback. FINALLY, after eternity, the last note echoes throughout the hall and someone yells "GOOD NIGHT!" as yet another pair of drumsticks flies it's way into an unsuspecting fan's eyeball!
Yep. That's here too! (Everything but the eyeball part!)
You don't really need to play this one do you ???
Bob Ketchum (drums & guitars)
Larry McFarland(bass and "GOOD NIGHT!")
Kent Jones (keys)
