"Doug Deforest is volunteering to produce an album to help get the word out about missing children. The album "Together We Can Change The World" will be released soon. The group's motto is: Together We Can Change The World, One Smiling Face At A Time. The group will donate part of the purchase price for "Together We Can Change The World" to P.A.R.E.N.T. International to help pay for items needed to help find and bring home missing children. Doug has also volunteered to contribute several songs of his own including associating his new song "Love Will Find Us There" with both P.A.R.E.N.T. and the Ribbons of Hope Campaign. Additionally his new album called "Flesh and Bone" includes the song, "Love Will Find Us There" on HYPE Records. It will be dedicated to the children, and he will donate a dollar to P.A.R.E.N.T. for every person who mentioned Ribbons of Hope when purchasing it from his website at http://www.oznet.com/cedarcrest/doug/html ! Doug also talked to Jesse Haney, who not only has a new song out called "Dad" with "Atlantic Starr", but also plays guitar, sings and writes songs with Trini Triggs for "The Wrecking Crew." and now Jesse Haney is adding his songs and time to help the kids. Leland Martin is also going to help. He and Doug DeForest who own the rights to a song about child abuse called "If Only Mama Knew Jesus," are going to re-release and donate that song to the album to help the campaign for the children."

Recently, Doug has been collaberating with some other musical pals in the business on a project he refers to as his Fun Project. It's a band and a CD by "The Tropicats". The CD, called "Meet The Tropicats" is smooth and spicy island music.
